The glass is undoubtedly an organic material, perhaps the more organic of all. It is organic for composition and production process. The glass is smooth, shiny, transparent, continuous. It can be thin or very consistent. It can incorporate in its mass air bubbles or lively colors, we can shape it in endless forms and variations. And we are always anxious to limit it, to fit, imprisoning him in square molds that makes it more geometric, smearing it in slabs that we can cut and work. I am convinced that the glass we should leave it free, like water, shape it with tools that suggest what direction to go, without force, as were the masters of Murano. How beautiful Organic Design could be done with this noble material.
