Orologio FrO-clock - FrO-clock watch

Oggi presento un mio progetto, al fine di supportare con un esempio il mio (personale) modo di intendere il Design Organico. Si tratta di un orologio da tavolo dal Design Organico pensato per i 75 anni dell'azienda Lorenz. Nel creare l'orologio FrO-clock ho pensato alla rana, non tanto per ispirarmi alle sue forme, quanto ragionando su come l'evoluzione abbia portato degli esseri acquatici a diventare anfibi prima, e a conquistare la terra poi. In questo modo la rana da anfibio si evolve in orologio, in oggetto di design e segnatempo, conquistando la terra. Il risultato è un oggetto che di fatto non ha nulla a che vedere con una rana ma che di certo è in tutto e per tutto organico.

Today I am presenting a my project to help you, with an example, to understand my personal way to view Organic Design. This is a table clock with an Organic Design thought for 75 years of Lorenz company. In creating the clock FrO-clock I thought the frog, not so much to inspire its forms, but thinking about how evolution has brought water beings to become firstly amphibians and then to conquer the earth. In this way the frog from amphibious evolves in clock, in design object and timepiece, conquering the land. The result is an object that actually has nothing to do with a frog but that certainly is fully organic.
