Una sedia è per sempre - One chair is forever

Soltano una sedia, solo una è per sempre. Solo una è così organicamente perfetta, equilibrata, fuori da ogni corrente, fuori dalla spazio e dal tempo da poter essere considerata eterna. Una sedia che dovrebbe essere considerata, da ogni designer organico, come una reliquia. Mi riferisco alla sedia "Stacking" di Verner Panton del 1960, la "Panton Chair".

Verner Panton non è certo ricordato come come un designer organico, però ritengo che il design di questa sedia sia organico in assoluto. La sinuosità, la continuità, la leggerezza di questa seduta la rendono, a mio avviso, ciò verso cui il Design Organico dovrebbe sempre tendere. Il suo equilibrio stilistico la rende un complemento che potrebbe essere inserito in un'abitazione anche tra mille anni, comunque dovesse essere il mondo tra mille anni.

Only a chair, only one is forever. Only one is so organically perfect, balanced, far from any style, out of the space and time can be seen as eternal. A chair that should be considered by every organic designer, as a relic. I refer to the chair "Stacking" by Verner Panton, 1960, the "Panton Chair." Verner Panton is not remembered as an organic designer, but I think that the design of this chair is absolutely organic. The sinuosity, continuity, the lightness of this chair make, in my view, that to which Organic Design should always strive. Its stylistic balance makes it a complement that could be included in an house even a thousand years in the future, however were to be the world in a thousand years.
